Yes, BAKU CARS offers vehicles equipped with winter tires during the winter. We strive to maintain our fleet promptly and prepare our vehicles according to the season to provide our customers with the highest possible level of comfort and safety. However, we always inform our customers honestly: having winter tires does not guarantee 100% safety in all weather conditions.
Why we pay special attention to weather conditions
During the cold season in Azerbaijan, especially in mountainous and rural areas, the following conditions are common:
• dense fog
• sudden reduction in visibility
• icy and slippery surfaces
In such situations, we recommend that customers plan their trips to avoid fog whenever possible, especially on long routes and in mountainous areas.
Important: Even winter tires don’t eliminate risk
Even if the car:
• is equipped with winter tires
• is in good technical condition
There are factors beyond your control as a driver:
• 🚗 Outside the city, you often encounter older cars that:
• have worn tires
• have a weak braking system
• lack ABS
• 🚧 In rural and mountainous areas, roads can be narrow and poorly lit
• 🌫 In foggy conditions, reaction times are significantly reduced and braking distances are increased
This is why, unfortunately, even with careful driving, unpleasant situations are possible.
Personal safety is our top priority
At BAKU CARS, we always adhere to one principle: customer safety is more important than any trip or plan.
Our honest and professional advice to all drivers: In conditions of heavy fog, ice, and poor visibility, it is best to avoid long trips.
Any emergency:
• takes a lot of time
• requires waiting for the police and paperwork
• disrupts plans and creates additional stress
Our recommendations for winter drivers:
✔ Use a car with winter tires only in suitable weather conditions
✔ Avoid long and mountainous routes in fog and icy conditions
✔ Always check the weather forecast before your trip
✔ If in doubt, consult our team
Conclusion
We sincerely wish every driver:
• safe travels
• calm and open roads
• favorable weather
BAKU CARS – we don’t just rent cars, we care about your safety.
