The Mercedes-AMG SL 63 has been turned into the exclusive Manhart SL 700 R Limited sports car. The tuning studio, known for its projects based mainly on German models, has announced a project to finalize the latest generation Mercedes-AMG SL Roadster. Taking as a basis the flagship version of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 model, the tuners finalized it according to the proprietary program and turned it into a limited sports car Manhart SL 700 R Limited, which will be released in a very limited edition – only ten copies. The cost of the exclusive novelty is not disclosed.
Atelier from Wuppertal, in its traditional style, focused on changing the technical characteristics. Due to the new control unit, other intercoolers and a sports air filter, the standard 585-horsepower 4.0-liter V8 immediately pumped up to 707 horsepower.
The 9-speed automatic transmission has also been upgraded to make it shift faster. Other technical improvements include more efficient brakes and a new sports exhaust system, but they are not included in the basic tuning kit.
These are options that the client can choose at will and for some money. Aside from the canonical Manhart black and gold body scheme and a set of a22-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels with Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 tires, visually the roadster has not changed at all. True, if the client wishes, the company is ready to redesign the interior with new upholstery.
