Kia has unveiled the electric crossover Carens Clavis, developed for the Indian market. This is a battery modification of the SUV with the same name with an internal combustion engine, which is already sold here, and is capable of traveling up to 490 kilometers without recharging. In India, the new product was priced at a minimum of 1,799,000 rupees (about 35,577 ₼), and it is already known that over time, Carens Clavis will appear in foreign markets.

Although the crossover debuted in India as a car with an internal combustion engine, its appearance was originally made in the style of electric Kia: the company confirmed that this was done deliberately. The battery version retained the same dimensions and, like other Carens Clavis, will be offered with three rows of seats for seven people.

The Carens Clavis will be equipped with a dual 26.6-inch display, ventilated front seats, Bose sound, a panoramic roof and up to 20 electronic driver assistants.
