The DPC Cars YouTube channel has published a video illustrating the assembly process of the Dodge Charger Daytona – the manufacturer calls this coupe the world’s first electric muscle car. Production of the electric car started in October, and the first commercial cars should appear at dealers in early 2025, that is, more than six months late.
The Dodge Charger Daytona is being produced at a plant in Ontario, Canada. The modernization of the plant, taking into account the specifics of producing electric cars, cost the Stellantis concern almost 3 billion dollars.
The coupe will hit the market with two twin-motor power plants with an output of 496 and 670 horsepower and is priced at a base price of $61,950.
