I had a very disappointing experience with BakurentACar. When I made the booking, I was told the rental rate would be 60 AZN per day. However, when I arrived to collect the car, they demanded 90 AZN per day. After discussing the issue, a customer service representative agreed to reduce the rate to 85 AZN, but later the owner overruled this and insisted on 90 AZN again.
The vehicle provided was a Kia K5 with approximately 148,000 km on the odometer. It was clearly not a new vehicle, was due for service, and, most importantly, the tires were in very poor condition. The tread was extremely worn, and there was a visible bulge on one of the tires (photos attached).
I was traveling with my family of five, including an infant, carrying three large suitcases, and our destination was Shahdag, a mountain region. Driving such a vehicle on mountain roads was extremely stressful and raised serious safety concerns. Throughout the trip, I was constantly worried about the possibility of a tire failure, which could have ruined our vacation and put my family at risk.
Although the booking was for three days, I returned the car one day before and immediately informed the company about the condition of the tires. Unfortunately, this issue should have been addressed before renting the vehicle to customers.
As a tourist visiting from another country, I expected a safe and hassle-free experience. Instead, this rental caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a relaxing family vacation.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. It is worth paying a little extra to rent from a reputable provider or through trusted platforms such as Booking.com for greater reliability, vehicle safety, and peace of mind.

Thank you for your response.
I would like to clarify that my review was not primarily about the vehicle category, availability, or the additional 5 AZN discount. Those are commercial matters that can be discussed and negotiated.
My main concern was the condition and safety of the vehicle that was ultimately provided. The Kia K5 had approximately 148,000 km on the odometer, was due for service, and most importantly had severely worn tires, including a visible bulge on one of them. I have attached photographs of the tire condition with my review.
As a customer traveling with my wife, three children, including an infant, and luggage to Shahdag, a mountain destination, vehicle safety was my top priority. The condition of the tires caused significant concern throughout the journey and, in my opinion, should have been identified and addressed before the vehicle was rented out.
Whether I originally booked a BYD, requested an SUV, or accepted the Kia K5 as an alternative does not change the fact that every vehicle provided to customers should meet basic safety standards. My review reflects the actual condition of the vehicle I received and the stress it caused during a family trip.
I returned the car one day early and immediately reported the tire issue so that it could be rectified for future customers. I sincerely hope the company has since replaced the affected tires and improved its vehicle inspection process.
I wish your business success, but I believe future customers deserve full transparency and safe, roadworthy vehicles.
