Another smartphone brand has gone into car manufacturing – Meizu. Meizu, which came under the control of Geely a year and a half ago, announced the premiere of its first car, which will take place before the end of 2024. The CarNewsChina portal publishes teasers of the model and shares what is known about it today. The project is called DreamCar MX, and fans of the brand are involved in it – they offer Meizu Automobile their own personalization on a platform specially created for this.
Judging by the teaser images, DreamCar MX is a cross-sedan with a classic interior layout: on the front panel there is a rectangular digital “dashboard” and a separately installed tablet multimedia system. The new product does not look like existing Geely cars either outside or inside, while it is known that it is based on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) architecture, and it will be produced at one of the holding’s factories. The Meizu sedan will likely be comparable in size to the Lynk & Co Z10.
