Apple TV has released another trailer for the long-awaited F1 film, which turned out to be the longest of those already published. Film director Joseph Kosinski told Entertainment during the trailer premiere that Pitt drove sports cars on set himself, without using stunt doubles and accelerating to 300 km/h. “This film has it all: Brad Pitt, speed, thrills, an epic underdog story, drama, humor and a little romance,” the publication quotes the director as saying.
The Drive notes that the trailer’s soundtrack is partially composed of the song The Chain by Fleetwood Mac. This is a kind of Easter egg for Formula 1 fans, as this composition has been used in the sound design of Grand Prix television broadcasts for many years.
