BMW has published the first photo of the new 5 Series station wagon. In addition, the manufacturer revealed the schedule for the start of sales in different countries. So, first of all, the new product will appear at dealers in Germany and the USA. It is expected that they will receive the first batches in the coming days: the station wagon will become available on the home market, and in about a week it will appear on the American market.
From a design point of view, as expected, there are no special surprises – the station wagon will be visually made in the same style as the fifth series sedan presented in the spring. The set of power plants will also be identical to the sedan.
In addition, the station wagon will also receive an electric version of the i5 Touring – this will happen for the first time in the history of the model. However, it is expected that the battery-powered version will only be available in some markets. In particular, it will be available for purchase in Europe, Japan and Taiwan.
