Changan has published the first images of the new SUV. According to AutoHome, the future new product will become part of the Qiyuan model line and, perhaps, due to its dimensions, will be considered its flagship. The date of the full premiere has not yet been announced.
Judging by the photos, Changan designers have abandoned the currently accepted trend in China for maximum body streamlining and have equipped the new crossover, known under the working index C798, with a fairly traditional look. The discreet silhouette is decorated with thin diode lines in the front part and on the trunk door, as well as a fairly large spoiler. It is assumed that the length of the new product will be about 5 meters.
Even despite the cover, it is noticeable that the crossover is equipped with a lidar built into the roof. According to CarNewsChina, the new product will be equipped with a device from Hesai, which some time ago became a supplier to Changan.
