Changan has fully declassified its newest Qiyuan A07 car in China. The novelty can be called a business sedan, as it is quite spacious, well-equipped, and the interior is made with attention to detail. At the same time, Qiyuan A07 will not be expensive: the exact cost has not been announced, but Chinese sources believe that the price will be at the level of 200 thousand yuan.
Changan Qiyuan A07 with narrow headlights and lanterns, a practically absent radiator grille and handles hidden in the door is made in full accordance with modern ideas about automotive design. The logo looks unusual – it is a stylized binary code “101”.
Dimensions are 4905 x 1910 x 1480 mm, wheelbase – 2900 mm. The car will be equipped with 225/55 R18 and 245/45 R19 tires.
The interior is clearly made with attention to detail: there are leather seats with diamond-shaped stitching, a ceiling and pillars wrapped in suede, panels with a wooden texture (it is not yet clear whether this is natural wood or imitation).
The steering wheel is two-spoke with touch control panels for various functions, wireless charging for a smartphone is placed on the armrest. The gear lever was placed on the steering column. Of the options – a projection screen and an infotainment system with a large display, but the instrument panel is cut to a minimum.
Changan Qiyuan A07 is built on the EPA1 platform and is available in two versions: hybrid and pure electric. As part of the hybrid power plant, an atmospheric 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 90 hp. and an electric motor with a capacity of 217.5 hp. The purely electric version is more powerful – with a 258 hp electric motor. Its power reserve is 515 or 705 km.
