The new Range Rover Defender will be turned into a pickup truck for 155 thousand euros. The conversion of SUVs will be carried out by the Dutch Heritage Customs, and the price will include both the original car and the work on converting it into a pickup truck. There will be regular versions for 155 thousand and a limited edition All Blacks, which is valued at 172,500 euros.
Heritage Customs from the Netherlands presented a new project based on the Range Rover Defender. Following the Valiance Convertible convertible, the Dutch decided to release a pickup truck, using the long-wheelbase Defender 130 as a basis. The price of such an SUV starts at 155,000 euros (excluding VAT) and includes the original Defender 130 X-Dynamic SE, work on converting it into a pickup truck, body paint, re-upholstery of the interior, as well as a “quad-barrel” exhaust and a proprietary set of wheels with a diameter of 20 or 22 inches.
Construction of the Valiance Pickup takes about three months. The client has the right to choose the color, interior trim options (for example, upholstery in leather or quilted Alcantara), various decor, stickers and much more. In general, 155 thousand euros is just the beginning, and the final price will depend on the preferences and financial capabilities of the customer. There is only one engine – a 3.0 petrol six with a power of 400 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
