DS has built a special crossover for the Formula-E champion. French racer Jean-Eric Vergne, who is a two-time Formula-E electric car racing champion, received another gift from the premium DS brand, which once grew out of the Citroen model line. The driver of the DS Penske team in the World Championship was built an exclusive flagship crossover DS 7 E-Tense 360 – this is the second special car in the athlete’s fleet after the mid-size DS 4 E-Tense 225, also personalized for the Frenchman.
Specialists from DS Design Studio Paris and DS Performance worked on the special crossover, using the DS Aero Sport Lounge and DS E-Tense Performance concept cars as inspiration. The exclusive matte color Satin Gray was borrowed from the prototypes, which gradually turns into the standard gray color Lacquered Gray through a geometric pattern.
The body is complemented by stripes designed to symbolize speed and dynamics, as well as JEV 25 logos with the driver’s initials and his starting number on the front doors. The standard DS emblem on the hood was replaced by an exclusive nameplate with the JEV monogram in honor of the star owner.
