Humanoid robots from Boston Dynamics will work at the Hyundai plant. We are talking about the new Atlas, equipped with electric limb drives instead of hydraulic ones. Such robots are more mobile and in terms of motor capabilities are far superior not only to the old Atlases, but also to humans. For example, they can walk with their head turned in the opposite direction and also rotate their legs freely.
Hyundai’s purchase of Boston Dynamics has begun to bear its first tangible fruits. The new Atlas robot, which replaced hydraulic drives with electric ones, is assigned to the production line of the Korean brand. However, what exactly he will do there is still unclear. Hyundai remains silent, as does BMW, which plans to use similar robots, but from Figure, at a plant in the US state of South Carolina.
