Kia has unveiled a new SUV called Syros, which is less than 4 meters long. The compact crossover was developed specifically for the Indian market, where it will become a more spacious alternative to the already sold Sonet. The new product will have a choice between petrol and diesel engines, but a fully electric modification is already in the plans.
The dimensions of the Kia Syros are 3995x1800x1665 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2550 millimeters. Compared to the Sonet, the new product, with a similar length, is slightly higher and wider and has an increased wheelbase. In addition, Syros has a more angular design in the corporate style with almost vertical rear pillars. Together, all these solutions should provide the crossover with a relatively more spacious interior. The trunk volume is 465 liters.
The interior of the new product is also made in a modern style with a laconic front panel, an angular steering wheel and a large block of screens. It is made up of 12.3-inch displays, between which a 5-inch climate control screen is built in. Depending on the version, the Syros will be equipped with, for example, six airbags, 8 Harman-Kardon speakers, navigation and electrically adjustable front seats.
