Porsche has updated the 911 Carrera S sports car. The main feature of the restyled version is that the German brand has completely abandoned the manual transmission. The interior has also been changed, with a new dashboard screen that has become fully digital.
The car has become slightly heavier – by 85 kg. As reported by the Caricos.com portal, this is due to the tightening of environmental standards in the European Union. Now automakers are forced to install additional filters in the exhaust system to comply with Euro 6e standards.
The sports car has not changed much on the outside. The car has received larger air intakes, as well as new matrix LED headlights and an updated rear bumper. According to Porsche, the aerodynamic performance has improved.
Inside, the Carrera S received a digital dashboard, which replaced the analog instruments. The central screen of the head unit has also been updated.
