A real “time capsule” was shown on the Internet – a 16-year-old Lexus GX 470, which spent almost its entire life in a garage. Another unique specimen was discovered by the famous automotive blogger Roma Urraco. It is noteworthy that the man found one of the most reliable cars in the history of the Japanese company in the parking lot. Since its release, the iconic SUV has covered only 13,000 kilometers. It is unknown why the 2007 car was put into the garage almost immediately.
The found Lexus GX 470 is a pre-restyling version of the SUV. The Japanese brand released a new generation of the model in 2007. The updated car received chrome door handles and roof rails. In the previous generation of the SUV, these elements are painted in body color.
In the cabin, the pre-restyling version does not have a multimedia system with DVD support, a new generation of navigation, as well as a large display for rear passengers and a connector for Apple equipment.
