The Range Rover SUV was decorated for the Chinese New Year. A special version of the model, which will be released in the amount of eight pieces, was presented by the Overfinch studio. The car is based on the previously shown Range Rover Redeefined by Overfinch, but differs from it in wheels and interior decoration. The interior of the Range Rover The Dragon Edition is decorated with embroidery and engravings in the form of dragons, as well as decorative inserts with marquetry mosaics.
British studio Overfinch joined the celebration of the Chinese New Year and presented the luxurious Range Rover The Dragon Edition on the occasion. Externally, the SUV is designed in the style of Range Rover Redeefined by Overfinch, but is shod with new 24-inch Overfinch Vortex wheels equipped with floating hub caps with a dragon image. The Dragon Edition will be limited to eight copies (in China, the number symbolizes wealth and prosperity). The 2024 model year Range Rover will be used as a basis, but only in the top-end SV and Autobiography versions.
The car’s interior is a blend of Chinese culture and Overfinch’s traditional attention to detail. For example, the seat upholstery visually resembles scales, which is echoed by images of dragons on the backs, center console and front panel, as well as claws on the transmission selector. They even use decorative marquetry mosaic for decoration, but it can also be found on the regular Range Rover SV. As does the contrasting two-tone design scheme.
