The New Tundra TRD Pro is unlike any other off-road pickup truck due to its unique powertrain. It comes standard with the Tundra’s most potent powertrain option, which happens to be its hybrid powertrain.The Toyota Tundra TRD Pro uses a 3.5-liter V6 i-FORCE MAX hybrid engine and an electric motor to produce 437 horsepower. 48 more horses than the Tundra’s internal combustion i-FORCE V6 engine.
Tundra TRD Pro produces 583 lb-ft of torque. Jeep may have a 4xe Wrangler, but Toyota is one of the few automakers that produce off-road pickup trucks with a hybrid powertrain. Please leave it to the brand that created the Prius to find a way to make the hybrid powertrain cool.
