Formula 1 drivers personally tested the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric crossover. In the fall of 2023, Ford introduced the Mustang Mach-E Rally crossover with an off-road mode, dual-motor all-wheel drive, MagneRide shock absorbers with special settings and increased ground clearance by 20 millimeters. In the spring of 2024, this version of the electric car went into production, and especially for the premiere, the American automaker prepared an unusual advertising video featuring famous drivers of the champion Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing.
According to the plot of the clip, the World Championship pilots take a break from their busy performance schedule, venturing out into the desert to spend time away from the hustle and bustle. But the Dutchman Max Verstappen and the Mexican Sergio Perez cannot avoid the race, because they are racing in the Mustang Mach-E Rally.
