Tesla will release three new electric vehicles in the near future. The American corporation hinted at its plans at the annual meeting of shareholders. During the event, representatives of the concern showed a slide showing the current model range. At the same time, three cars were covered with blankets. Experts believe that among the classified models are a serial Roadster, as well as a robotic taxi and a commercial van. Moreover, Tesla may present the first two models by the end of 2024.
The Roadster prototype premiered back in 2017. The company promises to release the serial version of the electric car before the end of this year. It is expected that the new product will become the fastest model in the brand’s lineup. According to rumors, the electric car will be able to accelerate to “hundreds” in less than a second.
Tesla is going to present an unmanned taxi on August 8th. Elon Musk announced this during the event. The taxi will receive an advanced autonomous driving system, which will allow the production of cars without a steering wheel or pedals.
Tesla’s third new model will likely be a commercial electric vehicle. This can be judged by the shape of the cover that hides the car on the slide, as well as by the accompanying caption, which talks about the need to replace cars with internal combustion engines in corporate fleets with electric cars.
