Volkswagen has revealed the premiere date of the updated Taos. The compact crossover, which shares a platform with the Skoda Karoq, will debut in a restyled version tomorrow, according to Volkswagen’s social networks. The model will receive different bumpers, revised lighting equipment and a radiator grille, and possibly a single rear light. It is expected that the manufacturer will seriously work on the interior – we can expect advanced electronics and ChatGPT support.
A week ago, the American office of Volkswagen announced that most cars of the 2025 model year will receive a voice assistant based on ChatGPT. Probably, the neural network will also be included in the equipment of the refreshed Taos.
As for the power plant, the current 1.5-liter engine of the EA211 Evo family, developing 160 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, will probably remain in service. It consumes from 7.6 to 8.7 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers in a combined cycle.
The 2025 Taos will obviously be more expensive than the current one. Currently, the crossover in the US costs from 24 thousand dollars – about 41 thousand manat.
