The premium brand Acura has published the first images of the future new product, which will receive the ADX index. The crossover should become the most budget-friendly in the brand’s lineup, but judging by the photos, its status will not be reflected in the set of options. The official debut of the ADX will take place before the end of this fall – possibly at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The only photo of the ADX body depicts the stern, which received lights with a characteristic “light signature” and an unusual spoiler. Judging by other images, the crossover will have access to premium Bang & Olufsen acoustics, perforated leather seat trim in different colors and a panoramic roof with a large glazing area.
The company confirmed that the crossover will be equipped with a turbo engine, but its specifications are still kept secret. According to one version, Acura plans to use a 190-horsepower engine from the Honda CR-V, according to another – a unit developing 200 horsepower and known from the Integra.
Acura ADX will become a competitor to similar SUVs from other premium brands present on the US market – for example, BMW, Cadillac and Lexus.
