Tesla has unveiled an updated Model Y crossover codenamed Juniper. The restyled model debuted in China earlier than on the American market.
In the new crossover, Tesla used a headlight design with thin LED running lights, which makes it similar to the Cybertruck pickup truck. In general, the shape of the car remained the same, and the rear lights are also made in one line.
Inside, the updated Model Y is similar to the new Tesla Model 3. It has retained a minimalist design and is equipped with one 15-inch touchscreen without a separate display for the dashboard. All information about the trip, including speed and selected gear, is displayed on the central screen. Also on the console are a panel for charging smartphones and hidden compartments.
In addition, as Tesla says, the new car has increased comfort seats, the rear seats have been extended by 15 mm, and the headrests have been widened by 17 mm.
The all-wheel drive version will receive two electric motors with a total capacity of 444 hp. The range is 739 km, which is 31 km more than the previous version of the Model Y.
