The Zeekr company has published the first images of a large SUV, which will receive the trade name 9X Grand and have a design like the Range Rover. Previously, this model was known under the factory designation EX1E. The crossover will be sold with a hybrid power plant, the characteristics of which are not yet available: they should be announced at the April auto show in Shanghai.
Judging by the images, the Zeekr 9X Grand will have a classic appearance: the silhouette of the future new product is formed by almost horizontal lines. You can also draw the first conclusions about the design of the front of the crossover, vaguely reminiscent of the Zeekr 009 minivan, and its lighting equipment. The steering wheel is also briefly shown in the video.
At the beginning of the year, the company officially confirmed that the largest Zeekr crossover will receive a gasoline-electric power plant called Super Hybrid. It is claimed that it will combine the advantages of a fully electric drive, as well as hybrids of different types. According to preliminary data, Geely’s EM-i technology will be adapted for Zeekr.
The premiere of Zeekr 9X Grand may take place in April, and the flagship crossover should enter the market in the third quarter of this year.
