Audi has unveiled the second generation of the coupe-like Q5 Sportback crossover. The car is available in two versions: Normal and SQ5.
Like the updated Q5, which debuted in early September 2024, the Sportback is built on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) platform. The crossover will receive classic versions with an internal combustion engine, as well as with hybrid power plants.
The new Q5 Sportback is created in the spirit of the latest innovations of the German brand. For example, the design is noticeably similar to the Q6 crossover. They have similar radiator grilles and a rear end with OLED lights with textured graphics.
Inside the Q5 Sportback there is an Audi MMI multimedia system display and a separate screen for the front passenger, already familiar from the regular Q5 crossover. The interior uses premium materials such as Kaskade fabric or Dinamica artificial microfiber, the manufacturer says. Eco-leather upholstery options are also available. But, alas, there is no more genuine leather.
The new Audi Q5 Sportback and SQ5 Sportback will be available to order from December 2024. Prices in Germany start from 54,800 euros (97,626 manat) and from 85,400 euros (152,140 manat) for the S model.
