BMW Shows New iDrive System with Full-Head-Up Display. At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, the BMW Group will showcase a pre-production version of the new BMW iDrive system with the innovative BMW Panoramic Vision panoramic display and the BMW Operating System X. The new option will become standard for all new models from the end of 2025.
The new BMW iDrive system combines four key elements: the BMW Panoramic Vision panoramic head-up display, which projects information from the windshield pillar to the pillar, an optional 3D head-up display, a central touchscreen with matrix illumination, and a new multifunction steering wheel with haptic feedback and illuminated buttons.
