A sharp rise in prices for used hybrid cars has been recorded in Azerbaijan.
According to Day.Az, citing Xəzər TV, while Japanese-made cars were previously offered on classifieds sites for 7,000-8,000 manat, their prices now exceed 12,000 manat.
According to Eyyub Aliyev, Chairman of the Automobile Dealers Association, the price increase is due to the cancellation of several incentives previously available for environmentally friendly vehicles.
At the same time, he noted that given the sharp price decline last year, the current situation can be viewed not so much as a price increase as a return to previous levels.
The expert emphasized that there is currently a noticeable price increase in this segment.
According to him, demand for such vehicles has increased again, but they are now more often purchased for courier services and private companies rather than taxis.
Despite the rise in car prices in Azerbaijan, rental rates from BAKU CARS Car Rental in Baku remain stable and affordable. The company offers competitive rent a car Baku, maintaining the same prices without any overpayments. This makes car rental an optimal and cost-effective alternative to buying a car in the face of rising market prices.
