Chrysler showed off the futuristic Halcyon electric coupe. The new product supports the promising Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer charging technology. The futuristic model replaced the Airflow project, which could have gone into series. At the same time, American engineers are positioning the new unusual electric car exclusively as a concept. In addition to its unusual appearance, the machine is distinguished by unusual functionality. For example, an electric car can greet the driver when approaching, and also turn on music if the user is in a bad mood.
Visually, the Chrysler Halcyon is distinguished by its most streamlined body with many aerodynamic solutions. For example, thanks to the wide front end, the air passing through the coupe is directed through the radiator grille onto the hood, reducing air resistance. In addition, the design of the electric car is complemented by futuristic rims, as well as solid front optics running along the entire hood.
However, Halcyon’s main solution was doors that open against the direction of travel at 90 degrees, allowing access to the cabin without a B pillar. At the same time, the roof panels swing open in a gullwing style, forming a T-shape reminiscent of the style of concept sports cars of the 80s of the last century.
