Changan has published full images of the new large crossover from the Qiyuan line, the first teaser photos of which appeared a few days ago. According to AutoHome, the future new product with the working index C798 will become the flagship of the line. The date of the full premiere has not yet been announced, the Changan C798 may go on sale closer to the middle of next year.
The photos allow you to evaluate the design of the crossover, made in a fairly laconic style for Changan. The C798 received unusual lighting equipment with large blocks along the edges of the blind panel in place of the radiator grille and a strip of running lights across the hood, complemented by elongated C-shaped segments. Similar in configuration lights are also connected by a light bar.
The massive silhouette of the crossover is formed by parallel window sills and a roof with original bends in the rear. You can also see hidden door handles, “gills” behind the front wheel arches and a lidar in the roof.
It is expected that the Qiyuan C798 will appear on the market equipped with different types of power plants – fully electric and serial hybrid. The length of the crossover will be about five meters, which will allow three rows of seats to be placed in the cabin.
