The electric crossover Jeep Wagoneer S received four screens at once. Photos of the interior, as well as additional photos of the exterior of the new model, were published by Jeep itself. And if outwardly the Wagoneer S almost exactly repeats the concept of the same name, the interior is made in the same style as that of the frame Jeep Wagoneer: four touch panels are installed on the front panel – tidy, a multimedia system display, another screen for the passenger and a touchscreen for climate control system.
New information about equipment has also appeared. The electric Wagoneer S will receive a multifunction steering wheel with physical buttons, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, contour lighting and a McIntosh audio system with 19 speakers. The output of the twin-engine power plant has also been confirmed – it will exceed 600 horsepower. There is still no information about the battery capacity, but it is known that the Wagoneer S will travel up to 640 kilometers on one charge. The electric car will accelerate from zero to 60 mph (97 kilometers per hour) in 3.5 seconds.
The start of sales in the United States is scheduled for this fall. The Jeep Wagoneer S will be produced at the same Toluca, Mexico plant as the next-generation Cherokee. Outside North America, the electric car will appear in 2025.
