Kia showed the first photos of the updated EV6 electric crossover. Introduced in 2021, the Kia EV6 electric car is too young for a generational change, but old enough for a planned update, which, according to the announcement of the South Korean automaker, will take place this year. The premiere of the restyled version of the model is planned for 2024, which has already been shown in the first teasers, allowing one to assess the scale of the change in the appearance of the crossover. The Kia EV6 will be brought in line in design with the rest of the lineup.
The highlight of the new product will be completely new headlights with a thinner LED architecture. The front grille will retain the recognizable “tiger nose” shape, but the updated front bumper will become even more prominent. But at the rear, the changes are less noticeable, although Kia designers still improved the graphics of the LED lights. You can also expect a new rear bumper and wheels.
Kia hasn’t shown off the interior, but the facelift will likely bring an updated infotainment system, new steering wheel, colors and trim options. It is also safe to assume that the Kia EV6 will receive improved electronic driver assistants and more advanced multimedia.
