The updated Tesla Model 3 Performance has already received the first tuning kit. The Californian company Unplugged Performance, which has been tuning Tesla models since 2013, presented the first program of improvements to the updated Model 3 sedan in its top-end Performance version. The project was shown just a few days after the debut of the electric car, and deliveries of parts to customers will begin in the second half of 2024. Tuners demonstrate the most flexible approach – you can buy not the entire set, but only its individual elements.
The tuners have prepared a new splitter, a new front module and additional aerodynamic add-ons located above the car’s small front air intakes.
The electric car was also equipped with new thresholds, a large Ascension-R wing and a new diffuser. Unplugged Performance says the body kit not only improves appearance, but also increases downforce. The tuners don’t give exact figures, but they do talk about the price.
Customers can order all the parts individually or together as a complete carbon fiber aerodynamic kit for $7,430. Individual parts cost between $265 and $2,695. All components are attached to their original places, so if necessary, the Tesla Model 3 Performance can be returned to its factory state.
