Exeed VX crossover with a new design: official photos. Premium brand Chery announced the start of production of gasoline-electric versions of the Exeed VX and confirmed the appearance of the SUV. The front of the model has not changed, but the stern has been significantly redesigned: composite T-shaped lights have been added, the bumper and trunk lid have been replaced. The hybrid also has new wheels. It is expected that over time, the “traditional” Exeed VX will try on the same appearance.

The Exeed VX with the C-DM power plant will receive a three-motor system of two electric motors, a 1.5-liter turbo four and a traction battery with a capacity of 34.5 kilowatt-hours. The total output of the system will reach 462 horsepower, the range on electric traction will be 143 kilometers (CLTC), the total autonomy is 1,300 kilometers, and fuel consumption according to Chinese measurements will not exceed 1.5 liters per 100 kilometers.

The hybrid is four centimeters longer than the original due to the increased rear overhang, the curb weight is 2.3 tons, six- and seven-seater configurations are declared. However, all specifications are approximate: the Exeed press service kept silent about the details. All technical data, equipment features and prices will be announced in March, but most likely the C-DM version will be more expensive than the top-end gasoline configuration for 234 thousand yuan (32 thousand dollars).
