Tuning studio Mansory has published images of the modified Mercedes-Benz G580 with EQ Technology SUV – this is the official name of the electric version of the Gelendvagen. The electric car was equipped with a massive aerodynamic body kit, but, judging by the studio’s message, neither the interior nor the power plant were touched.
For the electric car, apparently, one of the body kits developed for fuel Gelendvagens was adapted – for example, from the Mansory Gronos line. The battery SUV lost the closed panel in place of the radiator grille, receiving instead a traditional element with a brand logo, and acquired a massive front bumper with diagonal running lights. The hood with air ducts, typical for Mansory, was used.
Additional ventilation holes are also located on the wheel arch extensions. A light bar and a spoiler with winglets appeared on the roof, and a diffuser was exposed at the stern. The SUV is mounted on 24-inch wheels, and the brake calipers are painted blue – a reference to the electric nature of the Gelendvagen. Inserts of a similar shade also appeared on the sides.
The cost of the body kit for the battery SUV is not specified. It is possible that this example will remain the only one of its kind due to the lack of people willing to modify the G580.
