Mitsubishi has presented the first photos of the updated hybrid crossover Outlander. They appeared on the website of the Japanese auto brand.
Judging by the photos, the changes in the car’s appearance will be minimal, but the manufacturer said that the updated Outlander will have an increased power reserve, a changed interior, and a new multimedia system.
The photos depicting the exterior of the Outlander show a fragment of the head optics and a wheel disk. The design of the front part, apparently, will only undergo cosmetic modifications, and the wheels of the car will change completely. Mitsubishi announced that the crossover will receive new 20-inch wheels.
The range of interior trim materials will include semi-aniline leather, and the media system will receive a 12.3-inch display (previously the maximum was 9 inches). In addition, the company, in collaboration with Yamaha, has developed new premium acoustics for the Outlander.
The crossover’s powertrain should get a new battery, which will increase the electric range. In addition, Mitsubishi hinted at increasing the nominal output of the system and reconfiguring it to expand the possibilities of using electricity. It was stated that the new Outlander’s gasoline engine can be connected less often than now. New settings for the suspension and steering, developed taking into account the wishes of the owners, are also mentioned.
