An unusual restomod was sold at the Bring a Trailer auction for $77,000. The custom car is based on a third-generation Ford Mustang, known as the Fox Body, which is not very popular among fans of this model. In addition, the restomod’s engine is equipped with two superchargers, which is also not very often used by tuners in the United States.

The underhood space of this Mustang is occupied by a seven-liter V8 with custom cylinder heads, an original supercharging system and reinforced internal components. The estimated engine output is about 800 horsepower. The Ford works with a completely redesigned transmission, which includes a six-speed Tremec manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential and an alternative rear axle.

The Mustang’s suspension was reassembled on alternative levers and springs using air elements. The restomod is “shod” in 18-inch American Racing wheels with 14-inch Wilwood brakes. The interior has been completely re-upholstered with new leather, and an audio system with an Alpine touchscreen, two subwoofers and an amplifier has been installed.
