Hyundai has shared several images of the Ioniq concept car, which will premiere at the IAA Motor Show in Munich, which starts on September 9. The name of the new product is not included in the release, but it is expected that it will be called Ioniq 3 – it will be a compact model, it will be allocated a niche between the Inster and Kona Electric.

Hyundai does not provide technical characteristics of the new product, but notes that it will dismantle a new round of development of the corporate design and will embody the advanced technologies of the automaker, designed to “take car control to a new level.”

The teaser images capture exterior details: you can see the hood, narrow front optics, an inverted trapezoid grille, a spoiler on the stern and embossed wheel arches.
Serial production of the new Ioniq will be launched at a plant in Turkey in the first half of 2026. The model will be supplied to the European market.
