The joint venture between Nissan and Dongfeng showed the new N7 electric car at the Guangzhou Motor Show – the first model on a modular platform specially developed for the Chinese market. Advanced media technologies and the latest intelligent autopilot from the Momenta startup are promised, but the technical specifications have not yet been announced. They will be announced closer to the start of N7 sales, which is scheduled for the first half of 2025.
The dimensions of the Nissan N7 are 4930x1895x1487 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2915 millimeters. In terms of external dimensions, the new product is close to the current generation Toyota Camry, but the N7 has 90 millimeters more between the axles due to the electric nature of the platform.
It is claimed that the appearance of the sedan is designed in the signature V-Motion style, while the four-door does not have a traditional V-shaped radiator grille. The lighting system is made up of several hundred diodes that can display simple animation.
The N7 media system is based on the powerful Snapdragon 8295P chip. It will also receive 32 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Nissan has not yet gone into detail about the capabilities of the new driver assistant system.
