The Toyota concern presented a new generation of one of its most popular models – the RAV4 crossover. The premiere took place simultaneously in Japan, Europe and the USA. All components of the family were declassified at once: in addition to the main modification called Core, the crossover will have an “off-road” Woodland (aka Adventure) and a “sporty” GR Sport.
The engine range at this stage will consist only of hybrids of different types, both mono- and all-wheel drive. In addition, the latest proprietary Arene operating system debuted along with the crossover. Sales will start, depending on the market, either at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.

Toyota RAV4 Core
In the sixth generation, Toyota RAV4 retained the previous TNGA-K platform, but the company claims to have improved it. In particular, due to the strengthening of the connections of the power elements and suspension attachment points, the rigidity of the structure has been increased. In addition, vibration protection has been improved.

The wheelbase of the crossover has remained unchanged and is 2690 millimeters. Other dimensions vary depending on the version. For example, the length of the RAV4 can be from 4595 to 4618 millimeters, the height – from 1701 to 1722 millimeters. The trunk volume has been increased from 733 to 749 liters, including due to the thinner back of the rear sofa.

The interior of the crossover has been significantly modernized. A multimedia system tablet with a diagonal of 10.5 or 12.9 inches, depending on the configuration, has appeared, and a 12.3-inch digital panel without sun protection is now installed behind the steering wheel.
