BMW has announced a spy short featuring Uma Thurman and the i7 M70 xDrive sedan. In the early 2000s, the brand released a series of short, action-packed films The Hire (“For Rent”), in which world movie stars and cars from the Bavarian brand took part. The film The Calm premiered at the International Cannes Film Festival, featuring the latest BMW i7 M70 xDrive electric car.
Starring world-class stars Uma Thurman and Pom Klementieff, Joseph Kosinski was the executive producer, and Sam Hargrave, known for his work in the films of the Marvel universe, was chosen as the director. The soundtrack was composed by Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
In Tranquility, Pom Klementieff and Uma Thurman play a pair of secret agents who are individually called to a meeting place in Cannes. But first, the duo must fight off mysterious opponents. The two protagonists meet together at the Hotel Martinez to piece together the story of their secret mission that keeps viewers on their toes.
