The Best-Selling Car Brands in Azerbaijan

In 2025, BYD became the leading car brand in Azerbaijan.

According to BAKU CARS, citing Day.Az, 15,535 BYD vehicles were sold in 2025, a 410% increase compared to 2024.

Nevo took second place with 15,399 units sold, followed by Changan in third with 13,386 units sold.

Toyota ranked fourth with 6,926 units sold, a 20% increase. Hyundai ranked fifth with 1,889 units sold, but sales declined 6%. Chevrolet ranked sixth with 1,689 units sold, a 62% decrease.

Geely ranked seventh with 1,202 units sold, a 170% increase. Li Auto ranked eighth with 1,037 sales, down 15%. JAC, with 924 vehicles sold, ranked ninth, up 148%. Kia, with 879 sales, rounded out the top ten, down 8%.

    Don't be fooled by the high ratings. They force you to write reviews when you pick up the rental car. They asked for an hour to wash the car before bringing it back. But the staff member who brought the car arrived about two hours later, and it had bird droppings on it. Also, despite paying all the necessary fees, we weren't given a receipt or proof of payment. Then, at the time of car pick-up, we were falsely accused of paying less than the agreed price. Despite it not being in our agreement and the car not being clean when we received it, they demanded a car wash fee from us. It was not professional service at all. I do not recommend it.

    I booked Elantra but they gave me better car with less price and the Car was superb and well maintained. I have checked all other rent a car in Baku and Baku Cars offers me the brand new car with good prices, Mr.Sakit delivered the car on time and explained all the things as we are new to City.

    I received excellent service with complete information and reliability throughout the entire rental process. Mr. Abdullah brought the car right to the front of our hotel. The staff are very helpful and it feels very safe. I would definitely recommend it.
