Hennessey has once again beaten itself in its own self-invented competition for the fastest Christmas tree transport. In anticipation of the current holidays, the tuners organized a race using a stock Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with a decorated tree mounted on the roof and set a new internal record, reaching 315 km/h (195 mph).
The race was performed using a standard ZR1, whose engine produces 1,064 hp and 1,032 Nm (750 lb-ft). A 1.7-meter-tall tree with approximately two hundred ornaments was mounted on the roof.
According to Autoevolution, the festive race may be a hint at a new tuning kit that Hennessey may be developing for the Corvette.
