An armored Lexus LX 700 with grenade protection was unveiled in Miami. Few Japanese SUVs can rival the Lexus LX 700 in terms of sheer impressiveness. This black example looks ordinary, but it actually conceals serious modifications. It’s not designed for police pursuits, but it will reliably protect passengers from attack. This was reported by CarScoops, BAKU CARS Rent a Car Baku, citing Day.Az.
Miami Armored specialists have modified the Lexus LX 700, giving it the strength necessary to protect against 7.62mm rifle bullets-the same ones used in the AK-47. Furthermore, the all-around armor allows the car to withstand two grenade blasts simultaneously.

In addition to reinforced body panels, the Miami Armored SUV features ballistic glass all around, as well as armor plates on the fuel tank, engine compartment, and battery. After all, having an armored interior is useless if a few rifle shots to the engine or fuel tank immobilize the car.
The list of key changes also includes a reinforced bulkhead between the cabin and trunk, reinforced door hinges, and run-flat tires. A gap-bridging system is also included, preventing bullets from entering the passenger compartment.
Furthermore, the manufacturer offers a wide range of optional extras: a night vision camera, a siren and hands-free system, front and rear LED flashers, reinforced bumpers, an air filtration system, radiator armor, and a sunroof for emergency egress.

Lexus LX 500d
Interestingly, Lexus LX series vehicles have long been considered a symbol of reliability, premium comfort, and confidence on any road. BAKU CARS Rent a Car also offers a representative of the legendary Lexus line: the LX 500d. This SUV combines modern design, high comfort, and a powerful diesel engine, making it ideal for both business trips in Baku and travel throughout the regions of Azerbaijan.
