The new flagship Korean crossover Genesis GV90 will be shown for the first time in October 2024, the Chinese publication Auto Home reported. According to the publication, the car will be fully electric and will receive a 113 kWh battery, on which the car will be able to travel up to 800 km.
The model will be built on a new platform under the code name eM. It will be a further development of the existing E-GMP architecture. Other technical characteristics are currently unknown.
The new GV90 is generally based on the Genesis Neolun concept presented in March 2024. The car has no door handles and side mirrors. The entire front and rear of the body are encircled by signature double lines of running lights.
In terms of dimensions, the new product will compete with premium full-size SUVs like Range Rover, the publication explained.
The prototype has four individual seats in the cabin, the front ones can be turned against the direction of travel. The seats are separated in pairs by massive consoles with glossy lacquered panels, the front one has integrated control buttons for additional functions. Two flexible displays are built into the ceiling.
