Hyundai has published the first images of the new generation Palisade. The large crossover has received a completely new appearance with giant multi-section headlights and a cabin that can accommodate up to nine passengers. Technical specifications have not yet been made public, and the date of the full premiere has not been announced.
The Hyundai Palisade looks more restrained and solid due to the more angular contours of the body, although the designers claim bolder proportions. The dimensions of the Palisade have not yet been announced, but it is known that Hyundai has increased the wheelbase of the SUV, while reducing the front overhang.
The front of the crossover is characterized by a combination of a fundamentally new radiator grille with horizontal slats and huge running lights. They are also made in the form of horizontal stripes, and the main blocks are located between them and the grille. The sides of the crossover have lost their previous stamping along the window sill line, but instead acquired angular accents above the wheel arches. The rear pillar of the body is emphasized by a chrome trim, the wheels are up to 21 inches.
The interior of the crossover has become even more geometric thanks to the new front panel and the rejection of the traditional center console. Hyundai Palisade will receive a new block of screens, made up of 12.3-inch displays, but will retain a set of physical keys.
The company is expected to release the missing data on the new Palisade in the near future. Hyundai’s previous new product in a similar genre was the Ioniq 9 crossover.
