A race with a curious lineup of participants was held in Italy. Three Fiat Pandas took the starting line, vying for the title of the shortest, narrowest, and lowest car in the world. The shortest one won. A video of the race was posted on the Instagram account @carmagheddon.
Apparently, only the shortened Panda had a traditional internal combustion engine. It simply wouldn’t fit in the other two conversions: they are powered by compact electric motors. They couldn’t compete with the gas engine.
