The hybrid supercar will be shown before the end of March.
Lamborghini has announced the debut date of the new supercar to replace the Aventador. Lamborghini’s large-scale teaser campaign is coming to an end – the supercar, known so far under the internal factory index LB744, will be officially presented next week.
The car in the Italian automaker’s model line will replace the discontinued Lamborghini Aventador and will become the brand’s first mass-produced supercar with a hybrid power plant. In several visits, the brand revealed key data about the model, and now almost everything is known about the car, except for the final appearance and name.
Until now, we gave it a codename: LB744. It’s time for you to finally see it.

The novelty will be built around an ultralight and rigid carbon fiber monocoque, will receive active aerodynamics and a fully controlled chassis, and the power plant will allow for the implementation of not only all-wheel drive, but also a new generation of thrust vectoring system.
In addition to the 6.5-liter V12, the power plant of the supercar will include three electric motors – one is integrated into Lamborghini‘s own 8-speed DCT robot, the other two are installed on the front axle.
A 3.8 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery will be located in the transmission tunnel and will support both charging from a household outlet (in half an hour) and in recovery mode (in six minutes). The Italian brand traditionally names its cars after bulls, so the novelty should also get a sonorous name instead of an alphanumeric index.
