The Japanese brand is preparing for the premiere of a new three-row crossover, which will receive the Lexus TX index. Using the available teaser, we decided to imagine what the novelty will look like.
The first information about upcoming large crossovers Toyota and Lexus appeared a few years ago. In February of this year, the premiere of the Toyota SUV, which received the new name Grand Highlander, took place. And this week, the first official teaser of its sister model from the Lexus brand was published, which allows you to get some idea of \u200b\u200bits appearance.
Judging by the existing image of the rear side of the car, the overall body structure of the novelty will be identical to the Toyota Grand Highlander model. The Lexus TX crossover will get the same doors and wheel arches, while the rear fenders and rear side windows are original. The rear pillars are also made differently, which will be made in black, and a chrome molding will appear in the upper part of the side glazing. The crossover will get new lights, which are likely to be made in a single element across the entire width of the rear, as on other new Lexus models. There is no information on the front yet, we can only assume that it will also be made in the current style of the company with a large radiator grille built into the bumper. In addition, the Lexus version is distinguished by body-colored lining on the wheel arches and the lower part of the body.
The new large crossover will be built on the same GA-K platform as the Grand Highlander (also built on the latest generation Toyota Camry, RAV4, Highlander and Lexus ES).
