Mercedes-Benz has announced the premiere of “dozens” of new and updated cars by 2027, according to a statement from the German manufacturer.
At the same time, Mercedes-Benz, unlike some European manufacturers, does not intend to abandon the internal combustion engine and V8 engines. However, according to the company’s statement, these power plants will also be hybrid.
“Mercedes-Benz is Mercedes-Benz, no matter what engine it has,” the company said in a statement.
Among the most interesting upcoming new products that Mercedes-Benz has announced, it is worth noting the “reduced” version of the G-Class SUV, about which there are no details yet, as well as the electric version of the E-Class sedan.
Both the GLC crossovers and the C-Class sedans will be electric. Thus, Mercedes-Benz “will reduce its gap in the electric vehicle segment,” the company explained.
In addition, the German manufacturer announced a “major upgrade” of the flagship S-Class sedan, which will take place in 2026.
