Skoda has published the first image of the concept that will become the new Octavia. This is a show car called Skoda Vision O, which is destined to be reborn as a fully electric Octavia of the next generation. So far, only a teaser has been published with an outlined silhouette of the station wagon, inspired, as Skoda notes, by the L&K 110 model, as well as the most successful station wagon of the brand – the Octavia of 1960. The premiere will take place in September 2025 at the Munich Motor Show.

The appearance of the Vision O will show the next step in the evolution of Skoda’s corporate language – Modern Solid, which is characterized by two-tier optics with thin DRLs and a reduced radiator grille of a recognizable shape. Among the last to try on this style were the Elroq and the updated Enyaq, which received “dotted” optics and the Skoda inscription instead of the emblem – a winged arrow enclosed in a circle.
The model in the teaser has “light contours, an aerodynamic body, a sloping windshield and a sloping roof,” Skoda says in its description.
The name Vision O stands for the so-called “circular design concept” – a comprehensive approach to recycling and reusing components, which hints at the presence of eco-materials. Skoda also promises to combine functionality and user-friendliness in the new model.
